Going Home

SOH-CM-2025
Going home to New Jersey to say goodbye to my "Big Sis". She died Monday afternoon of Leukemia. It was just last Thursday that we spoke and she sounded great and she was working her way through the Chemo that everyone hoped would put her disease into remission. Saturday she was on a respirator and she died not long after. Cancer and all of it's mutations are a plague on humanity that has taken my Dad, one of my Uncles and now my Big Sister. It's just sad.

I will be gone until Sunday evening, so when I don't answer a post you'll know why.:salute:

Mine as well. With both parents recovering from their cancer, I know all too well the process and frustration. You're in my prayers.

Falcon,

SO, SO sorry to hear this news.....Thoughts and prayers going your way......:salute:

My humble condolences, Ed.

May your sister rest in peace, free of pain and worry.

Cancer is a horrible disease. My the Lord destroy it soon.

Please let me join my condolences too Ed! May she rest in peace. Most of us have been affected by cancer in our families. It is an ever increasing disease that has taken a lot of good people, and it is just unfair.

Very sad to hear Falcon - keep going a day at a time.

Cancer is a bully... Lost my Mum and Dad to it within a year of each other but at least they're not suffering now.

Best,

Dave :salute:

Sad to hear of your loss Ed, my condolences to you, & a safe journey.
Another wasting disease has just taken a good friend of ours - Motor Neurone Disease.
Regards
Keith
