Golden Age Simulations Ends Operations

SOH-CM-2025
After nearly 20 years of development of aircraft models for flight simulation, it is with mixed emotions that GAS has decided to cease operations, including product sales effective June 30 2025. Current vendors Just Flight, SimMarket, and the MS Marketplace have been informed and asked to suspend sales by that date. I have been assured that your purchase history is maintained on their servers allowing access to previously purchased models. Those direct purchasers from our website will be supported by us, limited to download replacement requests. In closing all of at GAS want to thank you all for your support and collaboration over the years.

Best to all

Yes, thanks so much. It's been a good ride!

For me, FS9 was pretty much my golden age of flight simming. And GAS was a good part of that.

Thanks a lot - Understandable . but a pity as many of GAS planes has never bothered other devopers like the Kinner and ....

THANK YOU

Please let us mourn. Today received an email from a “developer” who asked if we were going to open source our models for conversion to MSFS. The ask tells
me that this person has no idea what feels like to leave a community after 20 years, only looking to make a name for themselves on our work. This is how far our community has fallen. Gawd the body still lives and the vultures are sitting on the branches.

As we grow through the process of life, we learn to recognize, collect and hold dear the things that we cherish. Then with the passage of time, we often find that those things are transient. moving with their destiny through our space. We are forced to acknowledge the limit of our grasp, and recognize that we as well, are transient in reality.
It is never easy.

However, in this regard, the objects of the talented creators may live on indefinitely. Thus, our respect and gratitude to the artists and technical craftsmen who have provided us with these wonderful avian ghost of the ether, which may be recalled, admired, and experience in out greater virtual environments, any time we wish.

What privilege!!

To the creators of the Golden Age, my warmest thanks to you all.

Thank you for all the lovely aircraft you have produced over the years and for the pleasure your products have given us. I still have about 15-20 of them installed on FSX and I love going back to them for a bit of nostalgic and sometimes quite esoteric (!) flying from time to time!
