Golden Age Simulations - In Production

OK, OK, already with all of the great previews. I think I really need a bigger hanger :) The float version is a nice addition.

A few screens of the float version. There is a brand new high roller version and a well worn bush version.

The shiny new one

With the deluxe interior

The old bush plane with years of service

And it's well used interior

There is an old Jimmy Cagney film called 'Captains of the Clouds' that I am reminded of by the nice red striped black ship - although I think the film featured a Norseman in that scheme

Definitely going to be adding this beauty to my hangar. I've long been a fan of the Reliant. Even have the old AMT model kit tucked away in my stash awaiting to be built...

We are in Beta testing and predicated upon the findings from that team will project a release date. I expect that we will be going gold in a week or less.

Beautiful interior pics.
Brought back memories of a Reliant I saw at a Fly-in about 20 years ago.
It had been beautifully restored.

Definitely a must have for me, the Reliant has always been a favorite of mine. :applause:

Thank you to Golden Age Simulations for allowing me to be one of the beta testers of the iconic Stinson Reliant -
i have only just had time to look over the included user guide and take a couple of short flights in the -8E and the float equipped version.
Naturally with all GAS aircraft you get great frame rates and the Reliant is no exception - I like flying in inclement weather so this is a great feature - I now have another beauty that I can fly in a rain squall
but that's not the Reliants only strength.
The plane looks great inside and out - and took off and landed per the checklist and according to what little I could find on the net about her.
The engine sounds throaty and right for a radial of this HP.
if you like this era of powered flight GAS have a really nice Reliant for you.
The only issue I have is with the interior lighting - the dome light comes on with the panel lighting and I would have that dome light on a seperate switch.
I also note the interior glass reflection has that 'tiger striping' effect that slides around on the windows (and panel in the blue/orange -8E) and I would say delete the reflections if that effect cannot be removed - not sure why some models have that effect and others do not?

My Specs are: Intel I-5 core 3.30GHz on an ASUS MB no overclock ACPI x64- 8gigs corsair ram - SSD - Nvidia Gforce GTX670 running Win7 64 in FSX Gold
Thank you Paul - for allowing me to fly the Reliant - It's a terrific pack, outstanding really

Absolutely gorgeous!

Well I knew Roger would post the better screenshots - and since I had to move my FSX PC out to the shed (long story ) where I do not have Internet access (sad story) this one snap of my monitor from my iPhone will have to suffice - trust me - GAS did a great job on this Stinson set
