These would be my own choices, and right up Golden Age Simulation's alley too...of course after the Pitcairn's are finished. ; )
 
Our next project was to be a WACO cabin plane probably the SRE, but the Autogiro upgrade took
precedence because I had promised a fan that we would do it and a promise is a promise. It will like be next after we've completed the PA-18 and released the new package. Then in the queue in the
Boeing 247. It takes a good 4 to 6 months to build a model so looks like with all the aircraft that have been identified is projects we"ll have plenty to do. That's a good thing.
 
The Waco SRE is a fine, fine choice, as is the 247! I'm always looking forward to the next Golden Age Simulations release (though I still need to catch up on the most recent releases). : )

Thanks again for everyone who has posted screenshots/information thus far, about this up-coming Pitcairn product!
 
Guess its way too soon for VC shots?

How does the FS9 fly? - does it feel "unusual"?

From one of the videos the stick has zero effect when slow - is that in the model?

The FS9 version has been out since 2007. The FSX version uses the same flight dynamics with a few tweaks. We've modified the aileron effectiveness to make a bit more sporty in cross winds but aileron effectiveness is effected at all speed ranges equally when making changes, so its a compromise. I guess if we were as smart as the A2A guys we could whip up some xml voodoo to make that happen. The model does simulate autorotation and does not stall. The response from the beta testers has been favorable. Here a few shots of the VC cockpit and remodeled rotor blades to better simulate motion effect. The map case opens with a left mouse click to reveal the simcons for radio, map, atc, gps, and clock

Hey I read a review of the FS9 model - sounds like you did a great job with the fs9's flight model eg not stalling and being stable, low speed etc - well done.

The paint jobs are amazing - I cannot wait for this model. :jump:

I also read from a 1931 magazine some great facts:
- does not stall.
- motor is used to start the blades spinning but then disconnected from the blades in the air
- the blades are therefore more like wings

And the blades are built just like 1920's/30's era wings - made of wooden ribs and covered in fabric, and it is pretty amazing when you see just how much wood and fabric structure there is in each blade.
