Google Earth problem/defect

All of a sudden when I initialize Goodle Earth, it comes up with the earth image containig a grey dot in the center and a continuous slow-speed rotation that I can't stop. Anybody know what's going on with this ??

Yer game controller is the Culprit...I get this also.I frantically turn my yoke and peddles and with the mouse I'am able to stop it..but for only one session...Right click Google Earth Icon..top of list find "Troubleshoot Compatibility"..may help....."STOP EARTH I WANNA GET OFF"<label for="rb_iconid_24">

well there was another thread about this awhile ago..couldnt find it..but what you need to do is go into the options/setting and uncheck the "joystick" tick..i think its the one on the bottom.
