Google Earth side-by-side with FSX

Has anyone tried an application that opens a window on Google Earth that is synchronized with the cockpit view from FSX?

I remember there was a Windows program that did that, but I've lost it - it was probably removed from circulation for copyright reasons.

In searching for that old program, I came across GE View:

I got it to work, but only after installing Firefox. The Google Earth plugin has been removed or disabled on Chrome, and was never available on Edge.

Here it is flying the Edgely Optica towards Montreal.

I think it's a nice addition to the flying experience on FSX.

What do you think?

I use a tool called FSX Google Earth Tracker -- https://fsxget.codeplex.com/ -- regurlarly with GE and P3D! It is a great tool to locate places, very good also for scenery design. It also shows the flight path in 3D.

Cheers,
Mark

[Edit:]

Ahhh, I didn't pay enough attention to what you wrote. My suggestion is not what you were looking for. FSXGET does not offer a cockpit view. Sorry.
