'Gordon-Johnson-Martin-Earnhardt 1-4 At Talladega'

Hey All,

Why is F1 in a NASCAR thread? :icon_lol:

This year is a very slow start for Jimmie - only 1 win this year so far - he certainly is not winning all the time. Those Virginians need to find a way to step up.

NASCAR does not need a rev limiter. It would simply take away the possibility of engine damage due to poor driving skills (over-revving). Course the F1 guys need it.

I like restrictor plate racing. It is completely different than other kinds of stock car racing. The strategy and tactics are completely different. I have said I think there is more variety in NASCAR racing than in F1 and I stand by it.

Safety is all important in most all organized sports now days and in NASCAR 200mph is the unofficial limit as the cars are certainly capable of faster. Should a driver actually have to risk life and limb? That is so preturn of the century.
