Got Friends Taylorcraft BC-12D Updated

I missed the original Sticky Topic, if there was one, about this excellent classic aircraft.
The FS24 crowd have enthused about it, and it is no less brilliant in FS20.
In fact there is not much left out in comparison, even to handing the prop, if you start in cockpit view.
So many thoughtful design elements in this model, a farewell from Got Friends to our sim.
It is not my usual kind of plane, but the more time you spend with it, the more it impresses.
It's on the MS Marketplace only - for solid reasons as I understand - which really does not detract in any way.

I’ve flown both versions out of curiosity, and they’re both superb. The only thing different I noticed between 2020 and 2024 is the flight modeling; it feels a bit more fluid/alive at the low speed end of the envelope under 2024 due to that sim’s flight modeling enhancements. But 2020 still hits all the numbers. (Only mentioning this to confirm that Got Friends absolutely put full effort into the 2020 version.)

Along with the CAS Cub, it’s one of the best Cub-class players lanes in both sims.
Highly recommended for 2020 users looking for a new classic single.

Yes the update addresses handling issues:

Ground effect has been reworked to make the airplane settle and behave more naturally close to the surface, while retaining the lightweight character you would expect from a Taylorcraft. We’ve also improved yaw stability, crosswind behavior, ground steering, and directional control.

along with various tweaks I honestly hadn't thought about.
And the update also contains a Sportsman Variant - essentially a whole new aircraft with 20(!) hp more.
