still looking for the Beech Staggerwing, Boeing F4B, Hawk P6E, Hawker Fury, Heinkel 51

and the list goes on and on...

But for a Flight Simulator that shipped with exactly zero Biplanes - thanks to all of the dedicated 3rd party developers - we now have a lot of terrific examples of the classic early airframes and sport biplanes from aviation history.

Hats off to them:
Tim Conrad, Anthony Lynch, Golden Age, Addictive, Iris, Swingman, Simon Smeiman, Flying Stations and all the others who have contributed.

Cool - cant have enough Pittses lol

thanks for the update - it looks like a beauty...nice VC too

...and I forgot to include Oliver Fischers Bucker 131 Jungmann...anFS9 port that still looks good in FSX

Don't forget Iris' Prometheus built by Owen Hewitt and the gang at Iris. Amazing bird! Very soon...

wow - cool - just went and looked at the website - another sport bipe for FSX is always welcome...thanks for the lead

I would love to see a Great Lakes 2T-1A for that matter

Indeed, with magnificient VCs too :)

please post screenshots and links when you have a minute...

I am aware of neoqb's Dr1 which is excellent - I fly it in RoF all the time
but the other First War planes I have heard mention of for FSX I can fly and fight with in that other sim and they would be hard to beat for quality.

Nothing comes close to the amazing quality of the Dr.1 of course, but the other airplanes are everything but ugly. And also, they are all in native FSX SP2 format :jump:

For the downloads, the Se-5 can be found on the Alphasim freewares website. The other two I have to find the links again, but most likely they can be found on Simviation for example.
EDIT: the Bristol F2-b is on avsim. Search for those files:
f2bx1pt1.zip
f2bx1pt2.zip
f2bx1pt3.zip
f2bx1pt4.zip

For the Sopwith Camel FSX upgrade, look for sopcamel_fsx_a_2010.zip on flightsim.com.
