'Grasstrack Sidecar Racing'

Back in the very dim and dark past when both my younger brothers rode Motocross aka 'Scrambles' they raced at a few grass track events each year.
All the Motocross lot did as well as a sprinkling of genuine cinder track 'Speedway' riders.
The scariest (and therefore most popular) track was a full two mile horse racing track at a place named Romsey.
Watching the solo speedway Aces on their 500 ESO or JAP powered bikes was an experience, real 'hair on the back of your neck standing up' stuff.
But that paled compared to the 'Open' solo races, watching the TriBSA 750+ and Metisse-JAP 1000 bikes running on alcohol blend fuels at well over 100mph on slippery grass!!!
