Hi,

Follow the links:

http://www.flightsim.com/newfiles/cfs2/cfs20.htm

and download the next sound file http://www.flightsim.com/kdl.php?fid=136371

It is like the real thing. In FSX it works great too, especially in the "fly by" mode!
(for myself I have deleted the 2 "ïdle" sound files from http://www.flightsim.com/kdl.php?fid=136371 because I think that they are somewhat too strong; so I changed these two files for the two idle sounds of my current merlin sound by renaming them in the same name as in http://www.flightsim.com/kdl.php?fid=136371).

Happy flying,

Hi everybody,

I have checked the links at Flightsim, but I was only able to find Rolls-Royce Griffon sound files.

The Merlin sound is quite different, where did I do wrong?

Cheers!

Kelticheart,

You are right: it is a griffon sound:redf:.
Nevertheless I think it is a great sound for spitfires and mustangs.
