This is a prop texture question.

I have Rami's install guide for Africa. I have FINALLY got the Blenheims that he said to put in the installation to actually show up in-game. However... the prop textures are HORRID! It's nothing but a gray disc! I have tried swapping textures from other birds to no avail.

I have this same problem with my Avia B.534, and I don't know what it means, and I don't know how to fix it... :banghead:

Also, is there a way to stop the Japanese planes and American Navy planes from showing up in my Africa and Korea install? They're getting MIGHTY annoying...

I doubt they are showing up in Rami's missions. Please remember that ALL aircraft in your aircraft folder will show up in Free flight, Quick combat, Mission Builder choices, and may be used as a subsitute player aircraft in missions also.

If you have a seperate MED/Korea version delete unwanted aircraft ...BUT....be careful you are not using their sounds/panels for other aircraft!!!!

Good Luck!!:kilroy:

Sigh... Rami... you've GOT to understand that I go to Kent State University, where reading is similar to a difficult foreign language! :isadizzy: Reading? Heck, I can't even spell it! :costumes::costumes::costumes:

Quick Combat's not what I'm worried about... it's having the planes show up in the game totally... if I remove them from the AIRCRAFT folder, then I get error messages everytime I fire the sim up.

To totally remove the stock aircraft from you install:

A: Delete the planes from the AIRCRAFT folder

B: Go into the MDLName.txt file (in the main CFS2 install...or what ever you have the install folder named) and delete the planes from that file.

C: The planes will also have to be removed from the Quick Combat list using Jonesoft QC Editor.

As previously mentioned, make sure that you are not aliasing any of your aircraft to any of the stock planes for sound or panels.
