A snip from the FS9 forum here at SOH ...

I just uploaded the F7F-1 to the FS2004 library. Should show in "What's New" when approved.

Works reasonably well in FSX ... simply stunning model. Thanks Milton and team!

Looks good !
I tried the previous version and it was already working quite ok, I'll try this one this weekend.
Thanks for the info :)

I had an earlyer version that worked fine, but I installed the new version twice and get a fatal error whenever I select this version and FSX restarts.Even downloaded twice to make sure it was not a bad download.Any ideas?

Got the same thing. I'm sure someone will sort it out.

Did you read this in the installation readme?

"
***Caution***, if you install in FSX, this gauge will not work. Remove gauge30 from Window00 of the panel.cfg and remove the Mape_WEP.gau from the panel folder. WEP is part of FSX and the gauge is not needed."

Alternatively, you can delete the panel folder contents and alias to any of your F7F-3's.

Thanks Milton,
I guess we're all stupid enough to think we'd read it without actually reading it:isadizzy:

Well, almost. Some versions do not like this gauge either. Just comment it out using slashes like so:

gauge29=//A26_engine_start!engine_start, 2,2,2,2

I'll just install it in FS2004. Really, guys, hard drives are cheap, not sure why you don't just keep both sims around. Nice to install FS9 planes where they belong and have them just work! :)

Can'twait to fly it! Saw a real one flying here in Seattle this year.

There's a true FSX version coming eventually, right?

The flight dynamics for this plane were originally developed in FSX Accel and "checked" and modified ever so slightly for FS9....
