No Problem, here's how I create a GSL for distrution.

Let's say we have 3 GOBs we want to work with.
After I've got all 3 GOB's completed I go into GSLEdit. One by One I select the GOB and then go to the Extract Menu and select Single-Gob GSL. I extract them to a new folder on my desk top. You have to do this for each one. Now you should have 3 Single GOB GSL files in the new folder.

I then go to the File menu and select Open GSL and open the first Single GOB GSL in the new folder.

Then I go to the Insert Menu and select Single-Gob GSL and select the 2nd Single GOB GSL in the new folder. This will insert the 2nd Single GOB GSL into the 1st.

I repeat this step for the 3rd Single GOB GSL and there you have it. All 3 Single GOB GSL's are combined into the 1st one. Now all you have to do is rename the 1st GSL file (in the new folder) and you're ready. You can delete the 2nd and 3rd Single GOB GSL's.

Also, see page 14 of Martin's tutorial where he covers using GSLEdit to combine multiple single gob GSLs (GSLs created by extracting them from single GOB layout insertions) into a single multi-GOB GSL using GSLEdit.

i import my created gsl's into the empty gsl from desk top,rename the first file. close and insert into cfs2gsl as one gsl.

I did not see in MN's tut any mention of empty gsl,this is where i got stuck.

You're right. Martin doesn't mention empty GSLs or suggest using them. However, as I said, on page 14 Martin runs thru the process of Combining Multiple Individual GSL Files.

Martin starts the process by opening one of the extracted single GOB GSLs that you wish to combine and then inserting the remaining extracted single GOB GSLs into it. You can accomplish the same thing by starting with an empty GSL and inserting all of the extracted single GOB GSLs into that.

Either way you end up with the same multi GOB GSL suitable for framing. ;)

Well I'm back, got the stuff for the truck but now I've got to wait for it to cool down. Tranny Fluid burns really suck, ya know? :costumes:
