Yep, Ercoupe. The center console, wheel, and lack of rudder pedals are dead giveaways.

The model looks great so far. It will be nice to have a native Ercoupe.
 
Why aren't there rudder pedals on the Ercoup? (I never knew that they were absent)

The Ercoupe had a number of innovative features one of which was a linked control system that tied the rudders to the ailerons thereby rendering the rudder pedals obsolete.

It was also marketed as 'spin proof' as the aircraft would naturally fly itself out of any spin.

Targeted at the non-professional pilot, the Ercoupe was also designed to be spin-proof with no dangerous stall characteristics. A placard, which was the first for any airplane, was allowed to be placed proudly on the instrument panel reading: "This aircraft characteristically incapable of spinning." An elevator that could move upward and downward only a limited amount—13 degrees—plus automatic yaw correction, enabled the airplane to actually fly itself out of a spin. Inexpensive to operate and maintain, the Ercoupe was able to fly into and out of small airfields, and its nose-wheel steering made taxiing almost like driving an automobile.

Outstanding work! As a fellow poly-pusher, I can tell that your very skilled and your doing a great job!

I really liked the Ercoup, but didnt know about the no rudder thing! I need to do a little research into that.

Keep up the great work! Hope to see it textured soon!
 
To show the thinking of the times - One Ercoupe marketing angle was that women could fly it because it lacked rudder pedals. No joke.
