Nice picture of snow.... Enjoy your white Christmas... :applause:

Here in Orlando, we will have Sunday probably is the coldest ... low 40ºF and most definitely no snow... :running:

We had 6 inches, then lots of sleet mix on top of it...

It will business as usual today for me....

AND YEA...The Fat Man comes real soon...

Thanks Chacha for the daily reminders...

We had 4-5 inches of snow last Thursday, with more coming tonight and tomorrow. Temperatures dropped to -18 degrees celsius (0 fahrenheit) last night only a few miles from where I live. With a very cold wind it feels much colder than that.

Playing in the snow with my car is fun though! Wheelspin up in third gear, with only a 70 hp engine! :icon_lol:

Well, we got it thru the night. I got up around 5am and it was a comin down like crazy.

Only problem with snow is.... it brings out the freakin idiots! When yer out driving in this stuff please turn on ALL of your lights. Running lights do not include tail lights being on. And please clean off ALL the windows and lights too. Thank you.

As of now, I believe we've got close to 6 inches of this white crap allover everything. And I didn't hook up the snowblower. As Walter would say... "Dumb A$$!!"

Don't mention the dumb-a$$ drivers!

I had to get my wife at work at 6:00 yesterday, saw three off the road and one upside down in a ditch with the lights on. Stopped for that, everyone okay, just shaken and cold, they had already called a wrecker and authorities and family members.

Coming home after picking her up was worse. It's pitiful here, people do not know how to drive in snow in the first place and this is the first significant snow we have had in 13 years, so that compounds the idiocy.

And people will insist in driving in it, even when they know beyond a shadow of a doubt, they are going to wind up on the side of the road at best.

My advise, leave your vehicle where it is, call someone with FWD, call me, call anyone that can drive in snow. It's not the snow I worry about, it's those other idiots out there in your way slowing up your mojo.

When I was 18, I had a '78 Nova four-door (cop car, but smaller 305 engine). I took that out one night during an ice storm and found a huge flat parking lot with nothing but an acre of asphalt. I started out just to have fun, but ended up teaching myself the basics of how to handle a slick road. Now, 26 years later, I know enough to keep it out of the ditch (knocks hard own wood).

That's not to say that I'm going to go out and joy-ride. If I don't need to go out, I'm not. There's enough people out there that don't know what they're doing and just try to drive like it's rain. We had to pick up our puppy from the vet's this morning and there were several out that should have stayed home - like the idiot riding a moped, on the snow-covered road, with one hand on the throttle and a cellphone in the other!

National Airport reported just a little over 12", which sets a new record.

I had over 2 FEET on my deck, which I dutifully shoveled off this afternoon before turning my attention to the front porch, sidewalk, and driveway (those were just as deep). I quit when the wind started throwing what I was shoveling back in my face -- and it's still coming down.

Orlando's starting to look mighty good, Chacha!

I caved in and hooked up the snowblower to the Kubota tonight. Took longer to do that than clean out the driveway. LOL Hey, a 50 inch snowblower eats up snow real fast. :d And it's better than bustin my back shoveling 18 inches of snow.

You wanna talk about dumb a$$ drivers. I went out this morning to get a new snowshovel... I figured there wasn't much snow then so a shovel would do the trick. My old broken one wasn't going to cut it. Well, I finally found one, and that was a store in Newark, about 6 miles from the house. These idiots were out driving in the center of two lanes dong about 10mph, no lights on, and get this.... yakin on a freekin cell phone. When I finally got home the wife said our area of Delaware was declared a disaster area and no one was to be on the roads unless it was an emergency. Yeah right! Then tonight 2 3-wheelers come flying down our street doing at least 50 with..... no lights on, and both carrying a passenger. Ya can't fix stupid!

Now get this.... I was told that an hour north of Wilmington there wasn't any snow as of 5pm tonight. I hope they've got it by now.... I like to share. And, it's still coming down like crazy here right now.

It's snowing in southside Virginia!
WOW, I didn´t know we lived that close!:icon_lol:

Same over here - far far away - and it looks like driving to work tomorrow will be a blast! According to metheorologists it should all be gone again in a few days (even though the sky looks packed with snow still).
