A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category FSX Effects

Description: Effects, Sound and README with instructions to add gunfire and sound to the 2 lower nose guns of Milton Shupe's A-20G. This is for FSX and I'm not sure it is compatible with FS 2004.

Wonderful addition! Thanks very much :D
As an exersize, probably in futility, I'm going to see if I can't add the effect to the other two guns. And maybe, MAYBE see if I can make them wink, twinkle, flash, whatever you want to say, out of sequence, so they look "as real as it gets" :adoration:
Gonna try anyway. We'll see. I've read a lot about effects on the FSDev forum. Worth trying, anyway.
Thanks again. Great work!

You're welcome, Pat! Not much hard work at all thanks to Milton and crew plus David Robles! Does anyone know if David is still around? Haven't heard from him in a coon's age!:wavey:

If anyone will find this useful, this is what I came up with for the 4 nose guns. You may want to vary it a bit!

light.x = 2, 18.00, -0.5, 0.23, fx_p40_cannon
light.x = 2, 18.00, 0.5, 0.23, fx_p40_cannon
light.x = 2, 18.00, -0.5, -1.23, fx_p40_cannon
light.x = 2, 18.00, 0.5, -1.23, fx_p40_cannon

Now comes the fun part: Making it all twinkle at different intervals so it looks like 4 different guns firing. Just a tweak of the fx file, I believe. Will work on it asap.
Thanks again, Zippy, for the help! Love the teamwork on this forum!
I just hope I don't wind up with too many Irons in the fire!
Pat☺
