HAIL STORM OKLAHOMA CITY 5/16/10

OMG! That looks like some one shooting a .30 into the pool ... That'd leave a mark if you were out in it.

BTW, hail is a sign that there is a tornado somewhere about the area ...
 
I'm soooo glad I moved outta that part of the country. You can get killed walking around in that.

I'm not sure about that. I've seen plenty of hail where there was no possibility of tornadic activity.
 
We had some hail yesterday in a quick but violent storm that rolled over us, but nothing like that.
 
incredible video, just when you thought it couldn't get harder it did and boy did it. I wouldn't want to be a homeless person in that mess or caught out in it without protection.

Reminds me of my first knowledge of what hail was, oh maybe about 7 years old. My dad telling me about a storm that came through Marfa Texas while he was in USAAC flight training. How the big balls of ice flew through the fabric portions of the planes, bounced on the ground and went back through a second time going up. I was terrified.
 
Had a small amount of hail fall here Sunday evening.

I tell you, I live a lot easier knowing my two airplanes are inside hangars when I'm not flying them!

My cars are also sheltered.

HAHAHAHA!! What was that? No doubt she's gorgeous, but are they really trying to be some iteration of metal? Man, these chick-led "metal" bands are everywhere now.
 
6 'o clock news here tonight said northeast of us up in PA and NJ got 3" and golfball size hail in the storm that passed thru yesterday and today. Hail and high winds left some nasty damage.

she's no doro pesch, but their album is ok for a first effort. they are from pennsylvania

LOL, I got to hang out with Doro after a Warlock show awhile back, all fantasies I had went out the window after that, LOL
