Two skins for Shessi's Hall PH-3 flying boat depicting the two section leaders' aircraft of Patrol Squadron Eight. Only one Navy squadron flew the PH-1. Patrol Squadron Eight (VP-8F, later just VP-8) the "Flying Eight Balls," had six PH-1s, operated in two three-plane sections, from late 1932 through late 1936 or early 1937 while based at Fleet Air Base Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
