I have a pretty good idea where a few of these are going. Oh, btw...two drawcalls. a 4 MB one for the main textures and a 300k one for the transparent stuff.

Incredible work there...only now I want to throw out all of the stuff I've been working on. Looks like my learning curve just got REALLY steep:icon_lol:

Thanks, guys. My first hanger was with FSDS 2.x and was only three years ago or thereabout. Here it is:

Jim,

I meant to comment in my initial post, that your work is amazing! I appreciate everything you do!

Would it be possible to Put in a Panel for Logo Placement? I know of a few places that would love to have shops set up with a hangar like that!

OMG! Are those alphas you are using for the rafters inside the hangar?

Alphas?...not really, but if you make a truss in 3d then cut out the guts, you can make the truses work with a bit more than half the verts you'd use if you did 'em in 3d... and they look almost as good. And you never have problems with draw order.

Jim

OK I was just wondering... I prefer to go the route you mentioned when you talk about those rafter details.... then LOD them out as you move farther away.

I will do the cutouts as you mention!

Wanted to make sure it would work with the fps budget. You saved me some work. :icon_lol:

Thanks Jim! :wavey:
