Happy New Year and a question

How do you "Un-mirrior" textures?
I just know it can't be simple or everyone would be doing it.
Specifically, I'm looking at the freeware Alphasim CF-100 Canuck. A proper cammo repaint would be nice on this old bird.

There are two ways to demirror a mirrored aircraft.

1) Using the source files, recompile the model file with the left and right sides of the plane texture mapped to their own areas.

2) Using SCASM, rewrite the bmp calls to give the two sides individual areas on the texture files....or at least I think this is one way to demirror a plane.

Other than a total reworking of the model file per above, a plane can not be demirrored.

The fact that the ALpha CF-100 is mirrored is only part of the problem with doing new skins for it. Parts of the upper part of plane is shared with some of the lower part of the plane...the wing roots for instance. I have come across a number of skins for the plane and the fact that the camo from the upper wing roots shows on the lower wing roots is a real killer.

Thanks Obio, I kinda figured it would be something like that. Oh well, guess the Clunk stays in natural metal.
