Just wanted to wish all of you a safe and Happy Thanksgiving.

I started cooking on monday and will have family here this year.

As we do every year we will be bringing food to the senior citizens and than do a little show.We enjoy it as much as they do.It just makes us feel good to see their faces light up with big smiles.

Happy Thanksgiving to you as well, and to all!

Daughter and I go to feed the elderly tomorrow as well. There is no show but we will be very busy.... We do this yearly...

Every Christmas we go to a local Orphanage and visit those kids!.... Every year, kids are leaving and some are checked in.... :engel016:

It is fun....

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone out there Hiede. Looks like rain and 50s here on the east coast for tomorrow, so they'll enjoy the sun and warmth. There's even a chance of snow for some north of here.

Thanksgiving is a time of gratitude.

Thanksgiving is a time of changing seasons,
when leaves turn golden
and apples are crisp
in the chill breezes of fall.

Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on changes
remembering that we too,
have grown and changed
from one season of life to another.

Let us remember the true meaning
of Thanksgiving.

In the beauty of autumn, let us acknowledge
the many blessings which are ours....
Think of our families and friends...
Share a meal with someone who is hungry...
Call someone who is alone...
Call someone who is ill...

Pray for our troops and their families
and do give thanks to God from our hearts.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />

Happy Thanksgiving to all!

I've got the pies baked for tomorrow so Mrs Willy can have her kitchen back without me getting in her way.

Happy Thanksgiving to all my SOH family. I hope you all are surrounded by loved ones, be they family or friends.

I have the cheesecake "baked"...or as baked as a no-bake cheesecake gets baked. The pecan pie was baked by my a family member....she makes the BEST pecan pie. Here in a bit I need to make my way into the kitchen and begin the serious stuff...getting the turkey breast ready for the oven, slicing the 6 kinds of cheese, preparing the "relish tray"...olives, crackers, baby pickles, make the cheese sauce for the baked mac and cheese (using 6 cheeses in the sauce...going to be so good). Mashed taters, rolls, stuffing.....I am going to sleep like a baby tonight (it's already Thanksgiving here in Ohio....1:57 AM).
