Has any one read this Article on CFS2 in the internet!

Great article. It outlined both the strengths and weaknesses well.

I added the following paragraph to the article:

The current (as of 2009) meeting place for CFS 2 aficionados is:

http:\\www.sim-outhouse.com

This web site has an active group of combat flight simmers and 3d modelers dedicated to CFS 2. With its extensive library of downloadable aeroplanes, scenery; library objects, ships; missions, and textures for the sim, it is a favorite place to visit for advice or help and member made updates for CFS 2.

I agree with OBIO... WE is famous...

I like to see this as a group effort, and although I can't contribute much of anything to this community... what everyone does for each other here is almost overwhelming!

Me famous...nope. Have no right to be famous. I have contributed nothing new and original to the CFS2 community YET. I have simply taken other peoples' work, applied some new paints, converted them, tweaked them, added to and subtracted from them, remixed them for new uses.

And without the talents and willingness to teach on the part of those who do deserve to be CFS2 celebrities, I would not even be able to do that which I do. I will not attempt to list the members who have taught me how to do things or have pointed me in the right direction to find the know how, as I fear that I would leave people off the list.

I too see the continued strength and growth of CFS2 as a collective thing, each member doing his or her own small parts to create something that is much larger than the original concept. Like a termite hill....a milllion little bugs working together to create a home that is millions of times their size. I am just a termite in a great big amazing, wonderful and expansive termite hill.
