Found this while searching carrier ops video. Cracked me up. The comments reference a better version but I can't locate it.

Yep, the original version has funny sound effects, and silent-movie piano music. In this one, much is lost with the new sound. I'd love to find a copy of the original.

You could say "Launch 'Em!" was the grand-daddy of all the shipboard comedy/music videos now on YouTube. It's available on DVD (with some other old films as well) from these folks: http://www.periscopefilm.com/index....category_id=29&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=1
Years ago there were tons of 16mm copies of "Launch 'Em!" in Navy film libraries, I'm surprised there's not a YouTube version made from a better print.
