Does the error log show any clues? That's usually where I go when seemingly random crashes show up. Also, if you haven't already, it might be a good idea to switch off the automatic rebooting on system errors. If you let the system go ahead and show the blue screen instead of restarting, it can reveal the cause of some stop errors.
The last time I started getting random crashes like that (and it's been a long while, knock on wood), it was a RAM stick going belly-up.
I think, fingers crossed the problem is solved. The .dll file when installing the model did not come up when I started the Sim to confirm ok to use etc.
Now today it popped up and the model now seems to work.
Just strange it didn't do that on the reinstall of the model.
Sound card Noddy! Mate I had the same trouble with the Cub, but it's your sound card mate! Check that your update for your sound card is a new one if so then it's that!
