Hay River 2010

Looks nice. Picked up my copy this morning, read the readme and almost trashed it. That would have been a mistake.

Even though Hay River is made for users of Ultimate Terrain and the readme says it won't quite fit right with default terrain, it actually comes out pretty darned good in the default world. The airport scenery looks good. Okay, there are a couple of walls of water and an elevated landmass (island) to the east of the scenery, but no interference with the basics of the scenery. I'd say, get Hay River and install, default terrain or no.

I made a couple of flatten bgl's to knock down the easterly water humps and the island for default terrain users. Nothing fancy or pretty, but it does flatten it out and makes the surrounding terrain look a tad better.

If default terrain users would like to use the flattens, too, here they are. Just drop them in the Hay River scenery folder and go. If you don't like them, remove the two bgl's and your back to the original.
