He111

Nice aircraft, especially now they've lowered the price! Flies well, slow and heavy as expected. Plenty of great repaints available. Good VC with a great view of the scenery.

Just a few quick screenshots, Spainsh repaint by ??:

the only thing that bugs me about are the look of gauges :monkies:

everything else looks great :jump:

Beautiful model, like Stiz I think the gauges need improvement and don't fly it with the full fuel load. Its a typical model from Alphasim they released in this period. The style is similar to the Blenheim and Hudson they also released in that period.

Cheers,
Huub

They're not 3D gauges, but they're not too bad IMHO. I do like the clock on the steering column:

I fly this plane alot, it is a great model with a great sound file, but am i the only one that has a problem trying to keep her trimed. Most of the time I have to fly with AP to get it to stay level, is there eny fixes for this???

I seem to recall that this aircraft was modeled by Krzysztof Malinowski for Alphasim several years ago - very well known person to those of us who have been involved with flight sim long before FSX. The same individual who did the models in the old WOP Bombers/Jets product, and of course the famous freeware (though now dated) P-40's, B-24's, and Privateers to name a few.

I understand both sides of the comments about the gauges - in their own right, they look awesome, but they just don't mesh well with the look of the rest of the cockpit. In anycase, if you want an He 111 in FSX/FS9, this product is definitely the way to go.

I'm pretty sure the flight dynamics have been tweaked and brought up to date. No more fighting to get her airborne.
