Hello all, im new of this forum and its first time i try to play cfs2 on this computer and online, but have serious problems cfs2 doesent works. I have a notebook pakard bell easynote processor is a turion double core and graphic is a nvidia geforce go 6100 joystik is logitek 3d pro, on old windows 98 the program run very well but here with xp professional sp3 after starting program close automatically. I try to reinstall many times but the result is ever the same, program open load all but when is time to fly automatically close and comes the desktop i re try to load but every time the result is same program close. Can someone hepl me? Someone have a patch or something of similar or some solution to try? Plz help, i wish play!!!!!!
P.S. Im sorry if my english is incorrect need to learn!!! But welcome all in Italy!!

Welcome to the Basement. Glad you found us and hope you find a home here amongst us.

What are the full specs on your Easynote: Ram could be your problem. Doing a quick search for Easynote, it seems that the laptops come standard with only 512meg of Ram. Win XP will eat up about half of that, video will eat up another bit of it. You may simply be running out of RAM when firing up CFS2. If your Easynote has the base 512meg of RAM, you may need to add more RAM. Looks like the notebook can be taken up to 2 gig of RAM, which would allow ample memory for XP, CFS2 and a substantial boost in the amount of memory your video chip is able to use.

Ty for quick answer, but i maybe the problem is os my notepad have 1gb ram and geforce go 6100 256mb onboard memory, or 512 dont remember well. Ty for welcome i hope we come friends and hope too to resolve this problem wish encounter you all in our sky!

I don't think that the OS is the problem. Lots of folks are running CFS2 with Win XP with no problems, myself included (XP Home SP3). It could be your video drivers. Check to see if there is an updated driver for your video card...that might fix it.

Ty for answer me again my friend, i download new drivers from pakard bell but problem is not resolved, load all but at time to fly it close all and return automatically to windows how i can resolve this? Im very disappointed about this problem i try all the ways to play but not able to do!!! Gosh im very very disappointed! Wish play but dont able to do for the moment im at earth grrrrrrr!

Yes my friend it is original and cd in the drive, really dont know why doesent work, other programs run very good and fast this only make me crazy, plz heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp i cant stay on earth for more again! Lol need to play again and this time with you all.
