Helicopter Rotor Slap Sounds

I'm installing it now, just as a real world guy never really paid much attention to it while flying, as it's not that audible from the cockpit. I can tell from the ground without a fail the difference between an Apache and everything else with the rotorwash in the "X" tailrotor.
 
Wow, what a great realism amplifier this is! Currently flying a Bell 222, but also implemented the effect to the Huey, Black hawk and many other choppers. Really recommending this to all helo-junkies out here! :medals:
 
I like it for the Bell 206.
If applying it to other helos not listed in package, would be interested in recommendations for which option to use for:

EH101
Robinson R22
Schweizer 300cbi

or do they not have a noticeable slap sound?

Having a a fair share of helicopter stick time myself, this adds so much to the experience in FS!

I would use the heavy 4XX rotor sound for the 101,
the 206 soundset for the R22,
and the AS35X soundset (maybe the MD500 sound) for the 300cbi. That's the closest approximation there is to the blade slap intensity until more variations come out.
 
External Sound

Well, I have used a 'trick' (un-documented) for years that allow 'sound' when in fly-by or tower view. Make a new window (press 'left bracket' key). Then change 'view' of window (with 'S' key) until you hear sound (when in external view). Drag sides of window to reduce size of 'new' window, then re-locate to upper right corner. Clicking on the window (main or new) changes 'focus' to that window and thus effects if sound is heard or not. Hope you like.

Any recommendations which one to use for an Apache..?
In my previous house those would make steep turns not too far away, and the sound would rattle the windows.. :d
 
Heavy 4 blade would be the start, another characteristic of the 64 is the "x" tailrotor and the sound of the airflow through that system.
 
Added the "Bell4XX" effects to the Virtavia Apache and it works quite well!

Like I said, the Apache has a very distinct sound when pushed; very loud! Here's a video of the Rnlaf demo Apache:

 
I agree Ferry this is a must for the Apache but we do need external sound too everyone who has seen a Chinook bow in front of them knows what I mean
