Could the difference be that you are flying with different flight model realism settings? (EASY/MEDIUM/HARD)
I just dont get it.I have fooled with this for quite a while tonight. I find it very weird its working for everyone else.Literally perform perfect attacks, just do not release bombers, they just make dry runs on moving ships. I have deleted the CDP, added the new airfile.Tried fresh installs. I just dont get why all other dive bombers attack no problem. I dont see how it could be my DB weapons install, never had an issue with them.No error messages etc. Also, if it were the weapons would they not work for attacks on ground objects/static ships?
Attached below is the Helldiver I am using. It is Wolfi's, with the old airfile and a DP I downloaded from here, with more realistic weapons load. I have tried original dp with your airfile as well and they still wont drop. Ill look into my DB weapons install, maybe even reinstall .Thanks for all the help
I tried the Helldiver you uploaded as you have it setup and it attacked moving ships fine. Very strange it would work for me and not you.
Are you using the same loadouts for ground objects/static ships as you are for the moving ships?

Okay. They finally released bombs but only after a dry run, they climb back up a bit and make another attack, then release on second run. This is only with moving ships.Any ideas how to fix this? i mean its better than nothing but does kill immersion a little.
Sometimes AI planes have minds of their own.If near land they have to find the best attack angle and may make a dry run because it isn't right. This is especially true in mountains are in the area. There is a post by Talon from years ago about how to get them to attack better. He was able to get AI planes do things nobody else could.
In the open ocean I have never seen them do dry runs but sometimes fly past the ship and then attack when it's the right attack angle.
Hi dasuto247,
Maybe set the pre-attack waypoint at 10 or 15 miles out.
One strange problem for sure.

I will try that, thanks.Yes they do.I can never get torpedo bombers to attack harbors like Rabaul etc, usually they crash.
I never knew Talon but some of his work is impressive, sorry I never got to know him on here.
Thanks for your help, really.
