• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

i updated vid driver and maw doesnt load anymore i click it give main maw screen then kicks me 2 desktop how do i fix / w/o reloading maw ??????
i turnedback vid driver and same thing.....
 
Use CFS3config (or the MAW equivalent - don't remember right now) to re-set your screen resolution. You'll find it on the Start menu with MAW.

That's an annoying one.
 
And if that doesn't work, go to safe mode in Windows, and remove/uninstall ALL of your video drivers... and then load the set you want to use... hope it helps
 
You'll find cfs3config.exe in Med Air War/root. Just click on it to run it, and remember to exit by clicking on "exit" or whatever it is, not on the cross in the top corner!
 
Just a quick note on video/graphics drivers......whether nVidia Forceware or ATI Catalyst.....you need to clean your computer completely of old driver remnants when updating or changing drivers. Use a program like Driver Cleaner Pro, or Nasty File Remover (look for them a guru3d.com). There is no end to the list of unpredictable BSODs, application failures, and general discontents caused by small bits of old driver files conflicting with the newer ones.....

got it work again had 2 run maw in safe mode then change my vid settings ,now it work again thks a lot :) :ernae:
