Help me enjoy the Miltech MH60 . . .

I like Miltech's products (I have their MV-22, their CH-47, and their carrier and amphibious ships), but their MH60's windshield baffles me. I know it's a "feature" that it gets dirty as you fly, but flying 10 minutes over water shouldn't make the windshield opaque. There doesn't seem to be any way to clean it either. The windshield washer and wipers have no effect, the windshield deicers are no help, and the ECS is "for display purposes only." I thought that they might be fogging up, but opening the gunner's windows or main doors does nothing.
Basically the model looks good and flies well, but I can't enjoy it because, if any amount of sun hits the windows, I can't see anything.

I can't find anything in the manual about it (though I'm old and might have missed it). So, does anyone here know if the windshield can be cleaned or defogged or something to make the aircraft enjoyable?

As a beta tester for the MSFS 2020 version, I am no seeing the effect to that extreme. I do know it was reported by others to be fixed.

Do you mean that the darker sand colour is on the windshield on your MH-60? That's strange, I've never had that occur in any of my flights in the MH-60.

Maybe it's a corrupt download/install. Perhaps re-installing may help?

I'm streaming it, so I doubt it's a corrupt download. Also, it's not there when I start the flight. It shows up 10 minutes or so in. The color is actually gray-ish, but it looks yellow-ish in the morning sunlight of that shot. It's on the side windows, too.

I usually do most of my flying in the Pacific Northwest and Alaska, but testing today, I flew it around the Caribbean. Down there, I saw no such effect. I'm guessing it has to be fogging or icing based on the cold, but since the window heat seems to have no effect, opening the windows doesn't help, and the ECS system isn't functional, I can't figure out how to solve the problem. I guess I'll just have to fly it in warmer climates or pilot by the FLIR. Shame, because the cold places are my favorite places. It's still a really nice model.

Ahh I see!

I purchased mine via IniBuilds estore allowing me to re-download if required.

Maybe clearing any downloaded cache within MSFS24?

Hope you get it sorted.

Keith.
