I made a French Vought 156F texture, but...

but on French Vibrators, the bomb fork was removed, and planned to be reüplaced with French models, which was never done. So the French Navy pilots went for slaughter only with wing bombs.

I've been trying to erase the bomb fork with DTX and alpha, but it definitely spoils the markings on the rudder.
Does anyone know any other possibility, that would leave thoses markings neat and clearI hereby join the modified texture. The part to be erased ids painted in Black.

Any volunteer who can solve this problem is welcome...

Here are a couple of things to try:

Export the alpha - paint the "black" numbers white, then re-import the alpha back to DXTbmp.

Paint the alpha in neon green, then ask DXTbmp to create an alpha from neon green instead of black

or try this alpha image - import into DXTbmp as your image alpha channel & save the image in 555-1 format (no mips). This should stop any "blurries" & loss of clarity you can get with DXT file compression formats.

Thanks for the quick answer.

I've been learning another trick.

French Vought will be uploaded as soon as possible in the next days, probably with anothe couple of US Navy textures.

I' also trying to make a British Cheasapeake Mk.I.

Have a good Easter
