Help re-installing CFS3

Hello,

I decided to re-load CFS3, including the stand-alones, but have run into a small issue I can't seem to figure out. I can't seem to get the hat switch to work in the sim. I have a couple other sims that it works in but not CFS3. Using the scroll lock makes the numbers pad perform like the hat switch but not the hat switch. I assigned the "POV 1" key to the Virtual cockpit slot but it still doesn't work. I have gotten the newest software and drivers so I'm pretty much lost. Does anyway have any ideas?

I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium, Service Pack 1, 64 bit.

Like I said, it works on the other 2 sims that are a few years older.

Anyway, thanks for reading.

you may have to set/configure the "keys" in the game menu. "look up"=Hat foward, "look back"=Hat back, etc.

I got it. Not your fix but it did get me looking elsewhere. It was "Move point of view". For some reason I thought it was "Virtual Cockpit".

Thanks
