hi all, i did some updating as ive decided its time to get back into flying.my health has improved some, spent 8 days in the hospital in salt lake city, they got me on a new med to control my AFIB and my heart mummer. then two days after getting hom i got a combo of pneumonia and covid (i think thats what they said anyway) but im still sick from that, but much better than april and may, thought for sure that was it, wasnt gonna wake up one morning..lol..

so i did some updates, all was fine, now it gets stuck on the "checking for updates" screen as its trying to start. i let it just run for 3 hours one day and t just stayed. it did give me the option to open the sim in safe mode, but i hit "normal" start up and now it wont start. any fix to this? thanks in advance.

also see here, maybe it help

My install is doing the same thing, as well as the disconnection/connection issues.

Great! All I want to do is fly'n'chill!

Keith.

Mine started up this morning just fine. Bought the Cowansim C-500e and it downloaded and installed fine. Maybe the server problems have been fixed?

was fixed, but there is a the bing server off again, at moment.......
since su15 only trouble(n)
That's a bit exaggerated IMHO. It's not SU15, it's the ongoing work carried out on their cloud infrastructure. And that has been going on way before the latest sim update.

But that shouldn't be our problem.

Normally it takes 10 sek . to check for updates , so before you use MSFS ,look in Msoft Store / Libr, for updates , do it every time before you start MSFS , but most "important" of it all .... Restart PC after you done that , then it will work 99.5 times of 100 ~ :) ( but don´t try to start up in a new installed Airplane on a new installed Airport , it can be too heavy for MSFS to arrange that )

they've said the problem is fixed but it isn't yet, going by the steady reports of problems from users. Seems to be like a rolling server side issue affecting different regions and time zones at different times

Indeed, I had big problems on Friday, yesterday was good though.
