Help with Gnoopey's TB-50 and RB-50

I've been playing with these monsters (fun), but for some reason they ALWAYS default to the VC. While I can manually change this back to 2D, if I switch out to other views and return, it's back to VC!

Can someone tell me how to kill off this default? I'd like to be able to cycle from 2D to VC, to Tower, to External and back to 2D just by keying the "S" key.

Also, if this can't be done, can someone explain how to remove all of the existing panel completely so that the original VC doesn't show up when you hat over to the other views. I'd like to substitute Tom's B-29 panel, as this defaults to 2D ... but the B-50 stuff keeps popping in when you hat around.

Thanks, gurus!:kilroy:

Bill..for the first question, under the panel config for the B-50/RB-50s, add two slashes
before gauge 00 under the Vcockpit01 data...this will ..disable.. the 2D panel skip. you
should now have 2D/VC/TOWER/SPOT views in each cycle...

If you don't want the vc to show at all, never, completely gone, you can move the eyepoint in the [views] section of the aircraft config file.

Mine looks like this:

[Views]
eyepoint= 24.8589, -1.7651, 2.6115

Change the first number to something like 34.000 and that will move you forward out of the vc, or change the third number to something like 10.000 to move yourself up out of the vc. Doing this will enable 2D view windows but will make the vc completely unuseable. So you have to choose.
