Help with logitech extreme 3d pro

I apologize if this is not proper for this forum.

but the mapping of my joystick is messed up. Everything was working fine, keys mapped as I wanted them. then today, things arent mapped right. I used the latest version of the profiler. The joystick is only a few weeks old and i have the latest driver from logitech.

I had button 4 mapped as elevator trim up and button 6 mapped as elevator trim down. I have this way in the fsx profile. but joystick button 3 is now mapped in the game for elevator trim up and 7 is mapped for elevator trim down.

If I delete those mappings and try to map them in them in the game, when I press joystick button 4 the keyboard key 1 is mapped and when I try to map joystick button 6 keyboard 7 is mapped in the game.

I have reset defaults, restarted the game, reinstalled the driver.... I am at a loss.

If anyone has a suggestion I would appreciate it.

I have submitted support request on logitechs site, but I have no idea how long it takes them to respond... and this is messing up my fsx time. cant fly without elevator trim.

i use CH products myself...and i am told over and over not to use there profile program...wonder if you should try to delete the logitec profiler program off you computer ( ofcourse keep the .exe file so you can reinstall )and then try to just map your stick using only FSX,if that doesnt work try FSUIPC?...i finally did it with FSUIPC and it made a huge differance in my FSX experisirance ,well worth the cost.i had to print a huge amount of pages and read them several times over to "get it"...lol..but hey...lol
 
thanks. That is exactly what i did. I deleted their profile app. Then I was able to map in FSX with no problem. thanks again.

The bloody profiler makes a right mess of my G27 wheel.
I use Saitek and never bother with their profiles either.

What they said. They said, the logitech profler is C***p get FSUIPC payware its cheap. uninstall the logitech profiler and learn to use FSUIPC so much better.
 
Thanks. I did uninstall the logitech profiler. I was able to map in fsx with no problem. I appreciate the help. l will have try fsuipc too.
