I posted my problem in the wrong thread a while back....sorry about that,
I know it must be my old machine because everyone elses screen shots look great.
You might notice that my tree trunks are beside the trees.

Any ideas? And thanks for any help. BTW adjusting the sliders does not help.:frown:

Did you try a reinstall?
CFS3 Config, set sliders to defaults?
Latest video drivers?

It mostly caused by memory limitations and or bad memory.

Try lowering the scenery and terrain sliders one notch.

For a minimal amount of cash, you could upgrade your RAM to 3Gb and replace your video card. I had an ATI x300 in another machine and it was just slightly better than the on-board video card. I'm guessing a Dell so be careful with a new video card, the Dells have a 305watt PS and can't run a vid card with a fan. Look at the ATI 4350, it will get you better results at an affordable price. (Check Newegg)

Thanks for the help guys. I think upgrading might be a good idea too. I have a sony vaio so I don't think I will have a problem with a new card.
