Henschel Hs 129B2

Thx for another nice aircraft :applause:

having fun here 8)

n looking forward to your heavies :ernae:

Strange...

I tried those guns against a bunch of Stuarts and, spite of making a lot of hits, the tanks came out of the dust cloud untouched...

Strange...

Gun effectiveness

The 20mm and 30mm guns are very effective against armor. All I can say is practice.

Big trouble here...
Download and installed as per instructed...
Free flight just to look at the beautifull bird. Everything fine. Closed CFS3
Next day, CFS3 won't start...stuccked on tank and me 262...have to restart pc. Remove plane both versions, got that error message about unable to load mission. Choose another plane, everything alright now flying again....any ideas, please?
BTW, what to do to use that unaligned gunsight? bullets well to the left of crosswires...maybe I have a misplaced screen...:kilroy:
Regards

That sounds like a sound file problem to me, try putting another sound file into the Hs 129, something like the stock Ju 88 sound file?

Press F6 you'll have the gunsight right in your face!

works beautifully! no problems installing and it flys like a charm. I was surprised at how well it handles and at how hard it hits.

thanks again!

Engine Sounds

Thanks Bravo 4...will try that one, it comes with a Gnome -Rhone radial...
As to F&, again forgot rfm....regards

These two 129's were intended for MAW and aliased to the Gnome Rhone sounds in the 1.31 release. They should work just fine in MAW.

Thanks everybody...
Really a sound problem. Those Gnome-Rhone were quite puzzling for me.
Aliased to ju88, everything ok. No idea they were for MAW.
Downloading MAW 3.1, to get the sounds and everything now. Had the first version installed, lost it after pc crash....
Regards

First post here, so firstly hello to everyone. Secondly, it's to say thank you for this cracking aircraft, had some great fun with it! And thirdly, the sound issues mentioned above. In the sound config supplied with the two aircraft, the alias points to this folder in MAW:
alias=Engine_Sounds\gnome_rhone_x2\sound
when it should in fact be this
alias=DR_Engine_Sounds\gnome_rhone_x2\sound
Hope this helps.
