Hi Folks,

I've just uploaded the AH Hurricane MkIV that I promised you all last week. I couldn't bring myself to upload it without doing many, many "paranoia" checks to make sure that everything works. I've unzipped and installed the pack onto my CFS2 working copy about 5 times now and it all seems OK (famous last words). The MkIId skins should be next as I'm still fettling the MkIIb skins.
I've also uploaded the Middle Eastern Vampire skins for Roger Hardy's Vampire F3 that I mentioned last year and some PTO splash screens that I made a very long time ago and never got around to uploading.

Cheers.

Middle East Vampires

I was born in Beirut in 1952 and my mother used to take me to the airport to watch my dad take of as a passenger on business "JA Yorks,Super Constellations,DC6,Vicounts,comets etc etc and suddenly the Lebanese airforce vampires would take off during a lull around 4 pm usually i think they had about 6 of them and another 6 hawker hunters. We had 2 airorts used by the airforce Beirut and Riyak up in the Bekaa valey maybe 10 minutes flight.Riyak was set up by the brittish and french before WW2 and its still there.Today there is no lebanese airforce, the mirage 3 c's where sold during the civil war and today they cant afford an airforce.there is talk of purchasing 6 i believe MIG29's and sending pilots for 2 years of training but everyone is objecting "what for"they rightly comment

Thanks for the compliments, Guys.
The SEAC MkIV is a 60 Sqn, RAF aircraft, operating over Burma in 1944-45. I chose it using my usual selection process, i.e. it had non-standard markings, so I wanted it.
As to the Vampires, I wanted to do a Lebanese Air Force skin and I had a lovely picture of one, but the model uses one texture to paint rudders, airbrakes and front landingear door and no matter what I tried (brightly coloured lines in a grid with coloured spots, for instance, to work out which parts were using which areas of the texture. Unfortunately they all overlapped!!), I couldn't paint the "Cedar of Lebanon" marking on the rudders, so I felt that I couldn't do it justice. Sorry.
The MkIId skins will follow in a day or two.

Cheers,
