After a quick refuel at VIAL, we set out for our longest leg so far - to Rangoon, Burma. Flight was pleasant with no rough weather. Good visibility across India, the Ganges delta and the upper end of the Bay of Bengal.
The coast was in view for most of the flight. We came across the coast of Burma a few miles north of our planned course.
Just like the previous flights, we had to climb and descend several times trying to avoid headwinds.
As we got over Burma, the haze came back and the visibility decreased. We had a good look as we crossed the Irrawaddy River at the head of its Delta, but that was the last clear views, with the landing down to 3 miles visibility.
