Here's a sticky for ya...... Storch is RELEASED !

Dang it Francois! I DO NOT need this airplane. It is ugly. In fact it is so ugly it is cute.

And now you have all these people talking good about it. Why did I come here this morning?

Alas........ be strong John..........where is that credit card?
.......sometimes I hate this addiction.

:jump:

Hi Francois

I was about to do a paint but find that the paintkit is not layered so the details get painted over - should there be layers?

As explained before somewhere, I only got the bmp files from Simon so far. That's why I didn't post the paintkit at first, hoping to get a layered version. But people twisted my arm........ ;-)

Sorry I mis understood.

I have made a start anyway! Lots to do like get the correct colours

Well, you have infinitely more skills than I have, so I cannot help you :-( It looks real nice from here ! :wavey:

Hmmmm...... 1 (ONE !) of our customers has a problem with a black propeller disc. Now I am pretty certain I would have heard if any of you good people had experienced such a strange phenomenon..... but... any ideas ????

so there we are:

nice bird, and I love that flaps chain!
In contrast to the Lysander, which I found very hard to land, you can park this one anywhere, feelds great!

I'm not too keen about the sounds from the cockpit though.

Enjoying myself on the beach:

Nice shots Jan Kees... that is not anywhere near Brussels !! :icon_lol:

Maybe we can tweak the sound a bit in the weeks to come.....

Jan Kees, I hope I can convince you to make a civilian paint of one of the regular (non MG) versions of the Storch. I dream of having a bush aircraft like this one. Powerful, light, capable of transporting people and gear to the tiniest of places. Perfect for the Pacific North West of Oz :) And we indeed a better in cockpit sound for this beauty. It's soundin a bit thin.

Something along these lines:

(This is the Morane Saulnier by Guy Hulin btw)

Well, great fun!

Very Nice! Thank you!
And I have no issue with the cockpit sound, same or louder than external view... or perhaps I'm missing the point as I've finally been able to convince the wife that it is just not her that I'm not able to hear!

Thank you all! First of all for purchasing it, and secondly for your enthusiastic comments and very nice pictures. Couldn't have done it any better myself ... :icon_lol:

I will also remind him to send me the 'original' livery, the one with the swastika on the tail rudder, as it was painted in the war and as it is on the one in Florida. Due to legal issues we had to remove it from the plane that we advertise.

I

Will buy it as soon as historical paint is available...thought those legal issues aply only to Germany based products like the ones by Classics Hangar. They should allow an ammendment just for situations like this, for historical autenticy, but this is an old question...
Regards

Ok, I make short video with option "record vista sound" - so exactly what I hear with FSX. As You see big difference between Inside and outside sound and inside, each 4-5 second I hear something like "click", "tick" (with the same interval) ect.
Any noticed too same in VC cocpit? Sound card: X-tream Music Sound Blaster X-fi HD 5.1 with 5.1 sound system. For better sound take 720px.

They do. But please tell me how I can have my webshop, sites and pictures to NOT show in Germany, while still selling to German customers? I simply cannot run an entire shadow site and shop for just one country :kilroy:

The tick-tick is my mobile phone that I dropped when trying to get my 1.86 into that little cockpit. It kept bumping into the lower bar of the back seat all during the flight......

Problem solved. Apparently 'M' graphic cards ( he uses a notebook with one of these funny 'mobile' cards in it) cannot handle the .bmp texture that Simon used for the prop disk. Oh well...... will ask him to change that to dds. That seems to do the trick.
