Wow, what a surprise. Its a model of Octopus-G (Wilga was published by Aerosoft and it was done by Octopus-G)!

Even more surprising is that Mathijis just posted (here, in another thread) that the AN-2 is NOT the mystery aircraft now in late beta, that they've been teasing. Am seriously wondering what that'll be.

How's Octopus-G on flight dynamics? I seem to remember hearing good things about the Wilga. Alexander's FDE for the Sibwings Annushka is going to be hard to beat. But I'm willing to take the risk to cure my Annushka withdrawal...

I didn’t fall in love with her for her looks, so I can’t wait to hear about her flight characteristics.... the SibWings An-2 has set the bar high indeed.... Hopefully the designers have flown her as a base line...

If we are very lucky they will hire Alex or Bernt for the FDE... then we’ll be LAUGHING!!

Will he have to do the ORBX World odyssey all over again?

What will he murmur in her ear when he is flying her in low vis, as darkness falls and they both strain their eyes for that elusive strip to land on - the same as he said to his dear Sibwings variant?

Good news! Always thought that Octopus will never release this plane. Will have a closer look. The cockpit looks pretty cool.
 
I know that an AN-2 cockpit is an AN-2 cockpit but the cockpit above and the SibWings version look so dang familiar that I thought it was a straight copy.

That's odd. Wonder if it's a forum glitch or some other sort of glitch. Glad you grabbed the screenshot - otherwise I'd wonder if we'd hallucinated an Annushka...

Seriously hope that this doesn't mean there's some issue with the project.

I'd like to know how you found the update as I went to their FB page (I don't use FB) and managed to see the AN2 there and a few comments, some mentioned lack of support.
At any rate, Where can I find this update and what is the version number? Thanks :teapot:

I used their update and it did not work for me. I installed to P3D V3.4. The AN2 works fine in P3D V3.4 - now this updater says it cannot find the installation of the AN-2.
 
I just tried running the AN-2 updater, but it said nothing to update.

The updater is in your FSX root folder: FSX\Sibwings\AN2\updates\updater

Was there another place you were looking Cees, or maybe did my updater not work?

I think the updater is programmed to find FSX - I had to install the AN-2 to a dummy folder and then copy/paste to the main P3D folder and the effects etc, over to the appropriate P3D folders.
