Hey Gman, I found another variant of the B-26

While we're at it, there was a civil version called the "Onmark Marksman" which flew covert operations over Laos in a glossy green civil (CIA) livery. It had a more voluminous fuselage and different cockpit section. It seems like it was designed to resemble a high end executive transport.

Cheers,

IIRC it was originally intended as a 'High Speed Business Aircraft' which wouldn't have been (IMHO) very attractive.
Looks rather ugly TBH....:devilish:

That is one of the few On Mark Marksman aircraft. They had the cockpit glazing section of a DC-6 grafted onto the heavily modified fuselage to create a pressurized, executive aircraft. Only 8 were constructed, 2 of the 8 were made specifically to CIA specifications. The Marksman delivered what it promised, high speed, high altitude, executive transportation. It delivered Beech Super King Air performance about 10 years before the introduction of the Super King Air.
