Hidden Virtavia goodies

We've been paying so much attention to Virtavia's freeware aircraft releases, I bet no one has noticed the expanded scenery offerings. While I can't track everything they have added to the freeware library, the following scenery sticks out.

  • Bin Hoa v2
  • Dover
  • Cold Lake
  • Barksdale
  • Alconbury (ah, memories...)
  • Leuchars

I am sure there are more but take a look. And a hearty "thanks" to Virtavia and SDB since I am sure several of these were cleared by them.

Good find, i'd dismissed there freeware scenery as being really old FS2002 stuff but the base's you've highlighted are much more recent, ive been flying around Bin Hoa v2, really good, complete with ai also. may need a flat area but i am using Rumbers mesh for the area. Thanks for the HU and thanks Alpha for the freeware.

Thanks for that AWJ. I've been looking for Barksdale AFB ever since I bought the Virtavia/Alphasim B-47. My uncle flew Stratofortresses out of Barksdale and we visited him and his family there when I was a boy.

I'll also try Bin Hoa V2 out too. As you note Ian, it's all about the memories.
