High altitude

I know I can slew as high as I want in FSX world, but now I have a high altitude flight in mind. (I usually fly low and slow). What aircraft in FSX gives us the possibility for the highest altitude?

If the FSX models follow their RW counterparts.. you're probably looking at the U2, SR71 and Concorde. Can't think of anything else that came close to this 3.

Xtreme Prototypes has an X-15 for FSX. I have v1.0- did not care for flight characteristics, but it goes real high... and perhaps the current release is better.

If you Google "FSX U-2", you will see choices both freeware and payware.

The Area51 model springs to mind (payware of course) but as CP1207 said.. there's bound to be a freebie out there too:encouragement:

They say you can get higher with out drugs...

A point of view I have never subscribed to. Get some RFNA and Aerozine 50 in there; If you light your bong with this baby, jack webb won't even get to the airstrip before you hit 100,000,000ft.
This one, no argument. As high as you want to go, right to the 'physics don't apply anymore line, Cheech.
Free, too, as soon as I get a couple of things ironed out. Piglets X-24, C version, with heat on it. CT-III'C's, CT-III's and sub-orbital configured CT-III S-I's.
What should have been. The airforce was really gung-ho on manned flight, back in the day. X-24 should have been the X-20's successor.
