Historical information Saunders Roe & Princess Flying Boat

Hi all,

long time no see ;-)

I am flying in every now and then, though.

Found something very interesting and want to share. Unfortunately I missed the lecture/presentation, when it was held last year.
But even the sheets alone contain very many information:

by Bob Wealthy (http://www.fzt.haw-hamburg.de/pers/Scholz/dglr/hh/poster_2010_06_03_SR_Princess.pdf)

If you are near Hamburg in the next time, maybe this one is interesting as well:

Unfortunately, at the moment it is unsure for me - I already have something on my schedule that evening.

Hope you like it - best regards,

Hi Jaxon,
Long-time-no-hear, hope all's well with you?

Interesting about the Princess, huge ac, but unfortunately came too late.

Cheers

Good to see you again Jaxon!

The Sauders Roe Princess sure was an interesting aeroplane. All the airfields built during WWII put an end to the large flying boat concept. Too bad as they have an air about them that many wheeled planes can not match.
