History Made

Well, whatever she did, it hasn't been posted on the Women's Sports Foundation web site. She looks familiar though...

I bet my mother-in-law would mop the floor with her in Wii bowling. Helen bowls perfect 300-point games 98% of the time....she has around 400 300-point games in the last year. My father-in-law bowled a 299-point game....and still lost!

Hey All,

Bottom Line - she is due Major Congrats on being the first woman in history to win on the Men's Professional bowling tour - and at the tournament of champions no less. I saw the final match she was really close to a 300 game as the 2 misses were more bad luck than misses - 10 strikes in 12 balls is pretty good.

I don't know the status of 10 pin bowling in Europe but for a long time - maybe still is - bowling was the sport with the most players in the US.

I have no idea, but I wouldn't let her into my bed.

At 23 maybe not..But she could teach girls your age a thing or two.

Now, have a look at her whan you are in your 50's That opinion will change I promise....LOL

Bowling

I gave up bowling for sex; the balls are lighter and you don't have to change your shoes.:running:

I'm a little strange, I admit. But I still think two 25s are better than one 50... :applause:

Men get better with age, women get older. :icon_lol:

And about teaching (german) girls my age: I'd be happy if she just taught them self-confidence. Girls in their low 20s are so shy it's almost disgusting.

None of the ones I knew when I was 20ish were.:kilroy:

C'mon, dude. Jokes about the opposing sex are always fair game, but can't we show a little more respect for women of achievement than publically and immediately going straight to judging whether we'd do them or not? I'll bet if someone started a thread about Amelia Earhart there wouldn't be a first reply post about how 'do-able' she was. Don't get me wrong, I'm not bent out of shape or getting finicky, I just think we can do better than that.

Hear, hear !

As a former bowler (near scratch, 180+ avg) I applaud her for that feat, and no mean feat it is. To be the best in any sport is nothing short of fantastic.

:medals: for her from me. Lumps of coal for the rest of yez. :a1451:

Bjoern, you need to get out more buddy :icon_lol: i know a fair few German girls from erm 'holidays' with the lads, and they weren't shy, then again we did make a point of starting the conversations, girls are usually shy if you yourself are shy... just go up, and ask what they're drinking, and order 2, pass 1 to the girl, and get chattin, if talk don't work booze will :kilroy:

i regularly Bowl here in the UK, am shockingly brilliant..... at creating the 7-10 split situation :icon_lol: but bowl an average of i'd say 160, awful i know...
