Description: HMS Bounty - FSX Native - VERSION 2.0

Thanks to Roman Stoviak for XML conversion assistance.


HMS Bounty 18th Century Tall Ship square rigger completely wind driven, individually animated and controlled sails, animated flags with direction and wind speeds, animated helm, and Sail Management Window to control all ship fuctions. Ship responds to wind speeds and direction with yaw, keeling, and pitch depending on sails deployed and yard arm positions. Ambient sounds, variable wind and gale storm sounds, ship's bell, "Salute", anchor weigh/drop all add to immersion.


NOTE: FSUIPC Not Required for the HMS Bounty to work.

Oh Mr Zippy we are two nations divided by a common language.

A guinea was one pound one shilling and known as a golden guinea because it was a gold coin.

Guiness however is an irish stout drink enjoyed all over the world.

Aboard the "Historical" Bounty, 21 hours into a cruise from S74 (Lost Isle) down the San Jacinto River to the City Beside the Bay -16 kts wind to start and increasing to 24G29 into the top of the Bay. Other than the low clearance under (through) the I680 bridge -Crash Detection OFF - it's been a pleasant voyage. One moment of panic - someone (reportedly a scallion from Redmond WA - broke my rudder whilst we were anchored overnight - a clear case of Win10 sabotage - but a replacement was cobbled together.

Once we tie up at Treasure Island and the crew gets 10 minutes of liberty, I'll test the other versions, but thus far I can report all is 'shipshape and Bristol fashion'!

We've come a long way in 4 years :adoration:
 
Tally Ho Mate! Great to hear from ya.

One thing I like to do; set custom wx to <5 miles visibility, rain, 16-24 knot winds out of Northwest, heading Southeast out if Ketchikan Harbor 5KE ... just chillin', relaxing. If I want to drag it out, I'll sail over to Stewart. It's a long way up to Stewart ... LOL

BTW, don't know if you have sailed in gale force winds. LOL

Be sure you understand how to manage the sails, or use the Auto Skipper feature and read the manual before trying it.

yes, I have and yes, I did (read the manual) and so far I've survived. I hear it might be blowing outside the Golden Gate later...

It's a long way from Lost Isle at night too :loyal:

But so is San Diego to Cabo San Lucas at 12 kts...
