HMS Bounty Project 17th century Harbour scenery - FS9/FSX

Me too...
I must admit I did get a bit of a flutter when I saw HMS Bounty popped up in the 'Last Post' list!

Thank you Jorge and Bear,

This project was one of the most interesting and challenging projects I have worked on and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Thanks to Rob Barendregt and Nigel Richards, the project came to life and worked with the wind in ways I thought were not possible.

Rob's programming and Nigel's textures and sounds really made the project.

Great stuff for which I am most appreciative.

There may be another ship project in the future. Thinking HMS Victory ... but would have to be FSX native.

How about a clipper like Cutty Sark or Thermopylae? IMHO the most beautiful sailing vessels ever and Cutty Sark rose from her ashes.

As Pink Floyd once said (sang?)… 'is there anybody out there?'

Any news on the Bounty Harbour scenery?

Nigel has been off line for a while, which is not really uncommon. So either he is occupied with real life issues or he working night and day on all the projects he still want to finish.

Cheers,
Huub

Bounty Scenery

Hi Nigel,

Really Awesome Scenery you developed [of course ships too] !!! Where can I download your Scenery ?

Guus.

Guus, from what I gather, the scenery has not been released yet, & is possibly a work in progress.
There are quite a few projects being worked on.

Thanks Milton & Huub for reply,

Ok ! I did not noticed that the scenery is still in progress. And Huub, for years I am sailing with the "Beagle" ! So I know the vessel + the launchboat as well.
Are there ideas to setup all this [scenery & vessels] for FSX ?! In a year orso I will make the change-over from FS9.1 to FSX ...
Succes with the huge amount of work in progress ! Am looking forward to sail in your envirement !

Guus.

I have not spoken with Nigel in quite a while, and even longer regarding the scenery. The best we can do is await his response.

Meanwhile, I'll just enjoy sailing his textures and sounds, and Rob's wind and water management magic. :)

I'm guessing Nigel will show up again later in the year, his property in Greece is not well connected, I recall his wind powered generator had gone U/S and he was temporarily residing at his daughters when we finally got the Avro released.
